August - the summer cottage season ends, it's time to harvest, preserve, harvest and store for the winter everything grown with your own hands in the garden, vegetable garden and mother nature in the forest. In August, you won't plant any vegetables, but the time for transplanting flowers begins or continues, you can root currant cuttings, plant berry bushes.
But in indoor floriculture there is no rest either in winter or in summer. If you have light bulbs, you can sow and plant just about any plant. It is even better if you have prepared mini-greenhouses for flower propagation - there are cold nights in August and you need to protect crops from hypothermia.
Florist lunar calendar for July 2020
July can be unpredictable: cold, rainy, and hot, dry. We adapt to the weather and calendar, in home floriculture we continue to propagate plants by cuttings, transplant fast-growing plants, rejuvenate bushes, we carry out feeding weekly or twice a month.
At the summer cottage, the main work: weeding, mulching, regular watering and airing vegetables in greenhouses. Do not forget to tie up raspberries and currants. We collect berries for the harvest, harvesting begins: preserves, compotes, jams. Cooking vegetable salads.
We harvest the first crop, and the second sowing wave goes to the vacant space: radishes, daikon, you can sow turnips and, of course, vegetable greens - dill, salads, onions for herbs. The only thing to consider is that salad greens can taste bitter in the heat, so if weather forecasters promise heat, salads can be sown closer to August. In the southern regions, you can plant potatoes, and have time to get a young harvest in early October.
Lunar calendar of the florist for June 2020
To begin with, let's remember the signs that will tell you what harvest to expect - according to the national calendar:
- On June 2 (on Leonty and Falaley) cucumbers are planted - if there are a lot of cones on the spruce - for the harvest of cucumbers
- if (on June 21 (on Stratilat) a lot of growth falls - the summer will be fruitful
- if there are frequent lightning in June - you can also expect a good harvest
In the garden, special attention should be paid to the appearance of symptoms of dangerous diseases, such as powdery mildew (on vegetables and berry bushes), as well as scab on fruit trees. Spray with fungicides (for example, Topaz) or other less toxic agents, for example, to protect the berries from powdery mildew, a weekly spraying with milk whey (milk diluted with water) or 2-3 times spraying with an iodine solution.
In June, plant seedlings of vegetables that are not resistant to spring frosts (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers) and thin out the shoots of herbs and vegetables (parsley, lettuce, radish). By the way, sowing strawberry seeds can be carried out from early spring to the end of June.

May is the heyday of spring, the most intensive growth of indoor plants, cuttings take root best of all and grafts take root. Increased energy consumption requires its replenishment, so get ready to carry out feeding: once every two weeks with the usual recommended dose, or weekly, but significantly diluted (1: 4 or 1: 3 - based on the recommended dose).
In the garden, it's time to process the berries from the spider mite, remembering to alternate insecticides in order to avoid resistance. Keep your garden clean on May holidays - do not leave last year's foliage in the beds with spores of mushrooms, pathogens and pest larvae wintering on it. The collected garbage must be incinerated.

Seedlings planted in January-February have already grown up enough, they require more and more attention: thinning, picking (if necessary), feeding with mineral or organic fertilizers. And the snow has already melted in the garden, you can clean up garbage, burn old foliage, plan beds, renew shelters for greenhouses and greenhouses.

In March, the brightest and scorching sun - protect the seedlings from overheating and sunburn. Intensively growing plants require more abundant watering, however, avoid excessive dampness in the pots - the heating has not yet been turned off, the air humidity may be low, do not forget about spraying.

The sowing area is close for gardeners and gardeners, and lovers of indoor flowers will have to transplant home flowers. It's time to harvest soil, pots and pots, boxes for seedlings. You need to have time to buy seeds, check those that are put on stratification.
In February, you can begin to form indoor plants, thin out the dense crown, pinch the tips of the shoots for better branching, remove elongated and deformed shoots. With new growth, fertilizing is resumed.

The moon in January provides us with many auspicious days for working in the garden, greenhouse and flowers at home. Not everyone is in a hurry to sow in the middle of winter, but it is useful to take care of seeds and planting material in advance - to view expiration dates, check storage conditions, revise desired plantings, leaf through catalogs and order new selection. Check your pantry, maybe you need to stock up on soil, purchase peat cups or tablets.
In January, plants are very keenly aware of the onset of spring, house flowers often start growing, so pay special attention to the frequency of watering. On especially frosty days, the air humidity drops - you need to turn on a humidifier or spray. Top dressing is permissible only for plants in the growing phase, organic - on the waning moon (see calendar from January 3 to January 16), mineral - on the growing moon. If the weather is cloudy and gloomy, do not forget about the illumination, especially of early crops. For supplementary lighting of seedlings, you can use both fluorescent and LED lamps.
