The well-known Agricola Green Belt, whose products are quite popular in flower shops, also offers feeding for orchids. This liquid complex fertilizer contains important mineral salts and humic substances. Manufacturers proudly call their fertilizers "the favorite beverage of plants." The shelf life is guaranteed by the manufacturer for 2 years.
Very convenient packaging, traditionally for indoor plants, a yellow bottle with a measuring cup, 250 ml. The composition of the fertilizer according to NPK is 4: 5: 6, additionally microelements in chelated form (boron, copper, zinc, manganese, iron, molybdenum) and 0.8% humate. Designed for root feeding of various types of orchids. Of the minuses, the exact composition of trace elements is not indicated, while some orchids do not tolerate an overabundance of certain substances, for example, zinc. At the same time, there are trace elements that are important for orchids and are needed no less than other plants, for example, magnesium - it participates in the formation of chlorophyll, but it is not here. In addition, the acidity of the solution is not indicated on the Agricola fertilizer for orchids.
Agricola for orchids should be diluted at the rate of 5 ml of fertilizer per 1 liter of water, this solution should be used as ordinary water for irrigation. It is undesirable to apply top dressing more often than once every 10-14 days, therefore, on other days when watering is required, immerse the plants in clean warm water without fertilizers. For foliar dressing (per sheet), the consumption rates should be less - 5 ml per 2 liters of water.
Advice: if your orchids are planted in fresh bark, the acidity of the solution when soaking can be quite high, on acidic soils there is a possibility of an excess of iron and manganese, since these elements are absorbed as well as possible on acidic soils (this includes pine bark). When there is an excess of these elements, the assimilation of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, molybdenum, and other elements is impaired. Therefore, it is advisable to check the acidity of the solution in which you immerse the orchid for irrigation, pH = 6 will be optimal, with such an acidity of the nutrient solution, almost all micro and macro elements are evenly absorbed.
Anastasia Serpakova (Terezya): I liked this fertilizer. I have four phalaenopsis, they grow in bark and polystyrene (in half), I fertilize in the winter 1 time a month, in the summer 2 times a month, I immerse it for 20 minutes. They grow and bloom well. There is a peculiarity: one of the phalaenopsis was overmoistened, there was a slight rotting (cured), but it was necessary not to water it by immersion, but to spray it, I diluted 5 ml per 2.5 liters of water, it was not said about the rates of Agricola, I was reinsured. Therefore, I warn those who love by sight - if anything, try to take a smaller dose, and not more, especially if the orch is gaining buds.
Irina Kriulina (Irisha79): Good fertilizer in the sense that orchids grow, bloom periodically, I did not notice the difference with other fertilizers, I feed according to the instructions. The inscription on the bottle made me laugh: "stimulates active plant growth, flowering, gives flowers a bright color" - different fertilizers are needed for active growth and flowering, at the beginning of growth, more nitrogen is needed. Therefore, I recommend this fertilizer only for flowering, for the growth of green leaves "Bona Forte for Orchids" is better suited - there NPK 6: 3: 7 - it is just better for the leaves, but no longer for flowering. I liked Agricola with a measuring cup - it is more convenient than pouring into a cap, and besides, the fertilizer can be stored in the cold.
Lyudmila (lu-lu): I bought this fertilizer for Phalaenopsis, but for him one liter of solution was a lot, so I poured the liquid from it onto other flowers, and everyone was fine, hibiscus bloomed like crazy. But for the hibiscus, I added half the Agricola for Blossom. She fed everyone every two weeks (+/- 2 days).
iplants.ru: Agricola for orchids is a good fertilizer and is suitable for any plants other than orchids, only you need to feed the rest of the flowering plants more often - once every 5 days at the rate of 5 ml per 1 liter of water, which is not advisable - it is expensive. A bottle of fertilizer costs 65-75 rubles. As for orchids, as Irina Criulina correctly noted, Bona Forte is more suitable for stimulating growth. In general, Agricola is no worse and no better than other fertilizers for orchids, it is convenient to measure, the liquid is easily mixed with water. Note that the presence of humic acids is great for those orchids that grow with an open root or on an inert substrate (coconut shell or foam). We recommend alternating this preparation with other fertilizers for orchids, since in our opinion it is not balanced enough: there is no magnesium, no sulfur, the composition is not fully known.
