Fertilizer for feeding any vegetation on the windowsill, in the garden or vegetable garden. Active ingredient: sodium and potassium salts of humic acids. Manufacturer: LLC "Agro-Tech-Gumat" Russia, Irkutsk. Available in the form of a dry brown powder.

Humate +7 is produced on highly oxidized brown coals, contains 80-88% of humic acid salts (humates) and 7 basic trace elements necessary for the life of plants. These are Fe-0.4%, Cu-0.2%, Zn-0.2%, Mn-0.17%, Mo-0.018%, Co-0.02%, B-0.2%; NPK 1.5-0.15-5. The powder is readily soluble in water (by 96%); slight flocculation is possible.

Features of the drug

Humate + 7 is an improved version of the previous generation of the drug, which was called Humate 80 and was quite popular among gardeners. Humate 80 contains only humic acids (80%) and is a plant growth regulator. Humus is the main organic matter of the soil, and humic acids are high-molecular compounds formed during the decomposition of soil organic matter and contain amino acids, polysaccharides, vitamins, hormone-like and other substances. So, in the preparation Humate + 7, humic acids are in the form of complex compounds with minerals, which gives a synergistic effect, therefore the preparation is both a growth regulator and fertilizer. But Humate +7 cannot be considered as the main fertilizer for plant feeding, only as an additional one. After all, the main function of the drug is to improve soil biochemistry,therefore, there is no phosphorus in its composition, and a very small proportion of nitrogen.

Humic acids improve energy metabolism in the soil, restore the balance of microelements in the substrate, facilitating the transfer of microelements into a chelated form - organic compounds available for assimilation by plants, reduces the effect of heavy metals and the content of nitrates. The use of Humate + 7 activates the synthesis of proteins and carbohydrates, which increases the intensity of respiration, photosynthesis and water exchange, improves the growth of the root system.

Humates are more effective on sandy soils that are poor in organic matter (i.e., their own humus), as well as on acidic soils after liming or on alkaline soils with a low iron content.


It is advisable to use humate 7 in conjunction with complex mineral fertilizers in the spring-summer period, but the manufacturer advises to reduce the rate of the main fertilizer (more on this below). You can also use Humate 7 in autumn and winter, when the main fertilizer must be abandoned.

Dissolve 1 g of the drug Humate + 7 in 10-15 liters of water. If you do not have scales, be guided by the color of the solution - it should be the color of loosely brewed tea (light brown, not like chifir). With this solution, you need to water the plants at the rate of 4-5 liters per 1 sq. meter of soil. It is not worth increasing the dosage, since high doses of humates (exceeding 500 mg / l) inhibit the growth of the root system and the aerial part of plants. Watering with the growth regulator should be carried out 3-4 times during the period of active plant growth from March to July - during the budding period, with the formation of ovaries and ripening of fruits. The frequency of watering with humates should be 14 days.

To soak seeds, dissolve 0.5 g of Humate + 7 in 1 liter of water. If this is a lot, then dilute it in a glass of water, focusing on the color of the solution - approximately at the very tip of the knife, so that the solution turns out to be slightly brown. Soak the seeds for 1-3 days, but not longer than it should be for a particular type of plant.

The introduction of Humate + 7 into the soil, without diluting the solution, is carried out at the rate of 10 g of the drug per 2-3 sq. m. Evenly scatter the drug is unlikely to work. Therefore, the easiest way is to pour a little dry sand into the jar, add humates to it, close the lid and shake the jar thoroughly. Then scatter the sand in an even layer over the surface of the earth and dig up or loosen it.

To strengthen seedlings, Gumat + 7 should be used immediately with the first watering after sowing. Then every 10-14 days. If you use fertilizers for feeding seedlings, their rate must be reduced by at least 30%.

Humate + 7 with fertilizers

The preparation Gumat + 7 is not a complex fertilizer, it is unbalanced in terms of NPK for constant feeding, it is optimal in terms of potassium only for flowers and vegetables that should bloom in a short time and work out the harvest. If additional fertilizing is necessary, combine Humate only with nitrogen fertilizers or alternate them with a full complex fertilizer.

It is more correct to feed nitrogen fertilizers in the spring (add nitrogen fertilizers to the soil during digging or transplanting), and two weeks after transplanting (planting seedlings), spray the plants with a humate solution on the leaf. With the simultaneous introduction of Humat80 or Humat + 7 with nitrogen fertilizers into the soil, the proportion of nitrogen fertilizers should be reduced to 40-50% of the recommended one. Do not combine top dressing with Potassium Humate or Humate + 7 with potassium fertilizers, so as not to cause an overdose of potassium.

Do not combine Potassium Humate, Humate 80 or Humate + 7 with phosphoric fertilizers, such as superphosphate and others - insoluble and indigestible compounds are formed in joint mixtures! Phosphate fertilizers need to be alternated, but since Humate + 7 by itself increases the amount of mobile phosphorus in the soil, then subsequent fertilizing with phosphorus should be used in a reduced dose (reduce the rate by 30-40%).

The effectiveness of humates is especially evident in tank mixtures, i.e. combined solutions with plant protection products - this reduces the time of chemical stress in plants. But before making tank mixtures, it is necessary to check the compatibility of Humates with pesticides. In a separate container, mix small amounts of preparations and make sure that no sediment occurs. Kurdyumov advises in his book to combine Gumat80 and Gumat + 7 with Aquarin, SILK and EM preparations.


Humate has a 4 hazard class for humans. It is non-phytotoxic and does not accumulate in plants. However, in case of an overdose in the soil, it can inhibit the vital activity of plants, and can also provoke damage by bacterial infections. If you watered indoor flowers and diluted too concentrated a solution, you can prevent overdose by rinsing the soil in pots - pour plenty of clean water until it begins to pour out intensively from the drainage holes. After that, loosen the soil in the pot and dry the soil thoroughly - water only when you make sure that the soil is dry in the upper half of the pot.

The storage temperature of the drug is in the range from +5 to +35 ° С.
